    Eventix Essentials: Sealed Tickets

Visitors of popular events suffer at the hands of resellers. They are a thorn in the side of many event organisers. Enthusiasts, who have been going to an event for years, end up becoming the victims; they aren’t able to buy tickets through the normal channels, so they have to pay a lot more to get them second-hand. To counter this, we’ve added a new feature to our system: Sealed Tickets. In the blog, you can read what Sealed Tickets are, how they work, and what other benefits they have.

Increase your event's revenue by upselling

Events come in all shapes and sizes, from workshops to sports competitions to large festivals, each with a different level of audience attendance. As an event organiser, you’re always looking to increase your revenue and to reduce your risk with as much ease as possible, especially if you’re organising a small event. One of the ways of achieving this is through upselling. Eventix provides more options for upselling than other ticketing systems, which can help you achieve a considerable boost to your event. But, what is upselling? And how can you use it to boost your revenue?

Event organisers, become an artist on Spotify!

The popular streaming service Spotify is not only useful for the listener, but it is also a way for artists to distribute their music. They can do this by sharing their latest releases, but they can also be highlighted in personal playlists and the 'Artist Pick'. You might think that only musicians can have an artist profile, but you couldn't be more wrong; you can have one as an event organiser too. By claiming an artist's profile, you can gain access to loads more ways of promoting your event. In this blog, we'll show you what these options are and how you can use them!

Eventix x LiveWall: Live experience at events

Have you seen Black Mirror: Bandersnatch on Netflix? Ever voted for your favourite during a talent show or asked questions during a live Q&A session? These are all forms of a live experience. To get an answer to this question, I visited Jerre Maas, Head of Events at LiveWall and expert in the field of a live experience.

My first scavenging adventure at a festival had a bittersweet ending.

Scouring across a festival camping left in ruins in search of valuables, I’d heard of people doing it but didn’t know anybody who had. Apparently scavenging after a festival is a real thing. You can even make some money off it. With sustainability in mind, it’s obviously better to save as many things as possible from landfills and the ever-growing plastic soup. So I decided it was high-time to take a deep dive into the world of festival scavenging.

    The GDPR and Eventix

In recent weeks or months you must have heard the term GDPR. This stands for General Data Protection Regulation (in Dutch this is called AVG: Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming). Although the GDPR is mainly in line with the already applicable Dutch Data Protection Act, there are a number of important changes that will be implemented. Therefore, we answer the questions you have in this blog and we will tell you how we help you as organiser to comply with the new regulations.
This blog provides you with more information about four main issues:

➜ What is the GDPR and what does it entail?

➜ Which measures will Eventix take as a result of the GDPR?

    ➜ Personal data at Eventix.

➜ What will change for you as organisation?
