Visual identity can make a brand, a product or an event. Visual identity is a demonstration of who you are. Large events like Tomorrowland, ADE and Lowlands each have a unique visual identity that ensures that visitors will recognise their event. These large events have a team of designers that shape their visual identity for them, but what if you’re organising a smaller event and don’t have the same means? No worries! In this blog, you’ll find relatively quick and easy ways of sprucing up your event.

    Eventix Essentials: Sealed Tickets

Visitors of popular events suffer at the hands of resellers. They are a thorn in the side of many event organisers. Enthusiasts, who have been going to an event for years, end up becoming the victims; they aren’t able to buy tickets through the normal channels, so they have to pay a lot more to get them second-hand. To counter this, we’ve added a new feature to our system: Sealed Tickets. In the blog, you can read what Sealed Tickets are, how they work, and what other benefits they have.

My first scavenging adventure at a festival had a bittersweet ending.

Scouring across a festival camping left in ruins in search of valuables, I’d heard of people doing it but didn’t know anybody who had. Apparently scavenging after a festival is a real thing. You can even make some money off it. With sustainability in mind, it’s obviously better to save as many things as possible from landfills and the ever-growing plastic soup. So I decided it was high-time to take a deep dive into the world of festival scavenging.

    The GDPR and Eventix

In recent weeks or months you must have heard the term GDPR. This stands for General Data Protection Regulation (in Dutch this is called AVG: Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming). Although the GDPR is mainly in line with the already applicable Dutch Data Protection Act, there are a number of important changes that will be implemented. Therefore, we answer the questions you have in this blog and we will tell you how we help you as organiser to comply with the new regulations.
This blog provides you with more information about four main issues:

➜ What is the GDPR and what does it entail?

➜ Which measures will Eventix take as a result of the GDPR?

    ➜ Personal data at Eventix.

➜ What will change for you as organisation?
