Planning a post is a useful way to get your messages ready to be shared. For instance, this can be useful if you want to release the names of a line-up or would like to share news about your event. In this blog, we’ll show you how to plan your posts.
How do I plan a post on Facebook?
Go to the Facebook Business Manager.
Click on the three stripes in the top-left corner and a drop-down menu will appear. Next click on ‘Page Posts’.
This page is where you can create new posts. On the left side of the screen, you will see three different options for posting messages. Select ‘Scheduled posts’ if you would like to create a new planned message.
- Once you click on the blue ‘Create Post’ button a window will appear where you can create different types of posts for your page.
- In the bottom-right corner, you will see a button which says ‘Schedule’, this will allow you to plan when your post will come online. Keep in mind that the post will be set for the timezone you are currently in.
EVENTIX TIP: Use the insights about active followers
Keep an eye on when your followers are active on your page. You can do this by going to your page and clicking on ‘Overview’. This will provide you with a statistical overview of your page, which you can use to determine when to schedule your posts.
